حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَيْمُونٌ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ، قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ:‏‏‏‏ يَا ثَابِتُ خُذْ عَنِّي،‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّكَ لَنْ تَأْخُذَ عَنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْثَقَ مِنِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِنِّي أَخَذْتُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ جِبْرِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَخَذَهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَنِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُبَابٍ.

Narrated Thabit Al-Bunani: Anas bin Malik said to me: 'O Thabit, take from me, for indeed you shall not take from one more trustworthy than me. Verily, I took it from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took it from Jibra'il, and Jibra'il took it from Allah the Mighty and Sublime.'
