حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ هُرْمُزَ الْأَعْرَجَ حَدَّثَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : نَحْنُ الْآخِرُونَ السَّابِقُونَ .
