حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ مَا يَقْتُلُ الرَّجُلُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ؟ قَالَ: حَدَّثَتْنِي إِحْدَى نِسْوَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ: «كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِقَتْلِ الْكَلْبِ الْعَقُورِ، وَالْفَأْرَةِ، وَالْعَقْرَبِ، وَالْحُدَيَّا، وَالْغُرَابِ، وَالْحَيَّةِ» قَالَ: «وَفِي الصَّلَاةِ أَيْضًا»

Zaid b. Jubair reported: A person asked Ibn 'Umar which beast a Muhrim could kill, whereupon he said: One of the wives of Allahs Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) told me: He (the Holy Prophet) commanded to kill voracious dog, rat, scorpion, kite, crow, and snake (and this is allowed) likewise in prayer.
