Sunan An Nasai
Sunan An Nasai is one of the six major hadith collections in Sunni Islam, compiled by Imam An-Nasai. Sunan An Nasai includes 5760 hadiths organized into 57 chapters. Sunan An Nasai is a key resource for understanding the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) sayings and actions. The complete collection is available in Arabic and English language.
Sunan an-Nasai is compiled by Imam Ahmad an-Nasai. It contains 5761 Hadith Qudsi and Hadith Sharif. This book guides us about financial transactions, the method of Ghusl, Eid prayers, Qibla directions, and more.
Imam An-Nasai, like other illustrious hadith scholars, visited Mecca, Egypt, Ash-Sham, Baghdad, and many other places to learn more. Among the four Sunan, some experts believe that his collection has the fewest faulty or unreliable narrations. His magnificent book is a priceless addition to anyone's collection because it contains 5761 hadith.
In terms of organization and compilation technique, it is superior to other books. Like Imam Bukhari, Imam Nasai also cites one Hadith in a separate chapter. He writes many chains of tradition and notes the variations in language on the model of Imam Muslims. He talks about the shortcomings of tradition and its causes. Imam Nasai is renowned for his knowledge of hidden narrative weaknesses. He clarifies any misconceptions about the name, nickname, or other details. He checked to see if the narrator had met his master and whether the Hadith was from Muttasil or Mursal. He clarifies the meaning of several challenging terms at various points.
After the two Sahih collections, Sunan An-Nasai has the fewest weak ahadith. One of the six Sunan that he believed to be quite trustworthy is al-Mujtaba or as-Sunan as-Sughara, which is a summary of a sizable number of ahadith. Only those hadith that he believed to be trustworthy were added to the shorter collection.
