The The Book Of Purification And Its Sunnah in Sunan Ibn Majah 358 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Ibn Majah and has two hundred and ninety-eight hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَضَى حَاجَتَهُ، ثُمَّ اسْتَنْجَى مِنْ تَوْرٍ، ثُمَّ دَلَكَ يَدَهُ بِالْأَرْضِ .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that: The Prophet relieved himself, then he cleaned himself (with water) from a pot made of brass, then he wiped his hand on the ground. Another chain with similar wording.
Ibrahim bin Jarir narrated from his father that : The Prophet of Allah entered a thicket and relieved himself, then Jarir brought him a small water skin from which he cleansed himself, then he wiped his hand in the dirt. ..
It was narrated that Jabir said: The Prophet commanded (us) to tie up our water skins and cover our vessels. ..
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: I used to cover three vessels for the Messenger of Allah at night: A vessel (of water) for his ablution, a vessel for his tooth stick and a vessel for his drink. ..
