The The Book Of Purification And Its Sunnah in Sunan Ibn Majah 372 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Ibn Majah and has two hundred and ninety-eight hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْسِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ بِفَضْلِ غُسْلِهَا مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ .
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, from Maimunah the wife of the Prophet, that : the Prophet performed ablution with the water left over after she had taken a bath to cleanse herself from sexual impurity.
