حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيِّ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا طِيَرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأُحِبُّ الْفَأْلَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمَا الْفَأْلُ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْكَلِمَةُ الطَّيِّبَةُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

Narrated Anas: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There is no 'Adwa and no Tiyarah, and I like Fa'l. They said: O Messenger of Allah! What is Fa'l? He said: A good statement. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
