Benefits of Reciting Surah Mulk

A hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah mentions a Surah of 30 verses that intercedes for a person until he is forgiven. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ identified it as Surah Al-Mulk. This narration is recorded in Jami at-Tirmidhi 2891 and is graded Hasan. A separate narration in Tirmidhi describes Surah Mulk as protection from the punishment of the grave. Darussalam grades this report as weak, so this should not be presented as a confirmed promise.
