The The Book On Salat (Prayer) in Jami at Tirmidhi 186 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Isa Muhammad at-Tirmizi and has two hundred and forty-two hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. The original hadiths are in Arabic, and English translations are available to make them easier to understand.

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، وعَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، وَعَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ يُحَدِّثُونَهُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الصُّبْحِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصُّبْحَ، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْعَصْرَ . وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَائِشَةَ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى: حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَبِهِ يَقُولُ أَصْحَابُنَا وَالشَّافِعِيُّ، وَأَحْمَدُ، وَإِسْحَاق، وَمَعْنَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عِنْدَهُمْ لِصَاحِبِ الْعُذْرِ، مِثْلُ الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي يَنَامُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ يَنْسَاهَا فَيَسْتَيْقِظُ وَيَذْكُرُ عِنْدَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَعِنْدَ غُرُوبِهَا.
Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Prophet said: Whoever catches a Rak'ah of Subh before the sun has risen, then he has caught Subh. Whoever catches a Rak'ah of Asr before the sun has set, then he has caught Asr.
