حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، أَنَّ الْوَلِيدَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ التُّجِيبِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ، قَالَ سَالِمٌ، أَوْ عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا تُصَاحِبْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَلَا يَأْكُلْ طَعَامَكَ إِلَّا تَقِيٌّ ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ.

Abu Sa'eed narrated that the Messenger of Allah(s.a.w) said: Do not accompany except a believer, and do not serve your food except to one with Taqwa.
