حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا،‏‏‏‏ وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُقَالُ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَوَارِيُّ هُوَ النَّاصِرُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏سَمِعْت ابْنَ أَبِي عُمَرَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَوَارِيُّ هُوَ النَّاصِرُ.

Narrated 'Ali bin Abi Talib [may Allah be pleased with him]: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed, every Prophet has a Hawari, and my Hawari is Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam.
