حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ذَكَرَ بِنْتَ أَبِي جَهْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّمَا فَاطِمَةُ بَضْعَةٌ مِنِّي يُؤْذِينِي مَا آذَاهَا،‏‏‏‏ وَيُنْصِبُنِي مَا أَنْصَبَهَا . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏هَكَذَا قَالَ أَيُّوبُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَالَ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ:‏‏‏‏ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ابْنُ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ رَوَى عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Az-Zubair: that 'Ali mentioned the daughter of Jahl (for marriage), and that reached the Prophet (ﷺ) so he said: Indeed Fatimah is but a part of me, I am harmed by what harms her and I am uncomfortable by what makes her uncomfortable.
