حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ مِنَ النَّارِ . قال:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو،‏‏‏‏ وَعَائِشَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَجَابِرٍ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ هُوَ ابْنُ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَمُعَيْقِيبٍ،‏‏‏‏ وَخَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ،‏‏‏‏ وَشُرَحْبِيلَ ابْنِ حَسَنَةَ،‏‏‏‏ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ،‏‏‏‏ وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ. قال أبو عيسى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْأَعْقَابِ وَبُطُونِ الْأَقْدَامِ مِنَ النَّارِ . قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِقْهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَنَّهُ لَا يَجُوزُ الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْقَدَمَيْنِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ عَلَيْهِمَا خُفَّانِ أَوْ جَوْرَبَانِ.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Prophet said: Protect the heels from the Fire!
