حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ : أَنَّ مُعَاذًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ لَمَّا قَدِمَ الْيَمَنَ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الصُّبْحَ ، فَقَرَأَ : وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلا سورة النساء آية 125 ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ : لَقَدْ قَرَّتْ عَيْنُ أُمِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، زَادَ مُعَاذٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ ، فَقَرَأَ مُعَاذٌ فِي صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ سُورَةَ النِّسَاءِ ، فَلَمَّا ، قَالَ : وَاتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلا سورة النساء آية 125 ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ خَلْفَهُ : قَرَّتْ عَيْنُ أُمِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ .

Narrated `Amr bin Maimuin: When Mu`adh arrived at Yemen, he led them (i.e. the people of Yemen) in the Fajr prayer wherein he recited: 'Allah took Abraham as a Khalil.' A man amongst the people said, (How) glad the mother of Abraham is! (In another narration) `Amr said, The Prophet sent Mu`adh to Yemen and he (led the people) in the Fajr prayer and recited: 'Allah took Abraham as a Khalil. A man behind him said, (How) glad the mother of Abraham is!
