حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، ، قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ : قَالَ أَبُو جَهْلٍ : لَئِنْ رَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدًا يُصَلِّي عِنْدَ الْكَعْبَةِ لَأَطَأَنَّ عَلَى عُنُقِهِ ، فَبَلَغَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : لَوْ فَعَلَهُ لَأَخَذَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ . تَابَعَهُ عَمْرُو بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ .

Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Abu Jahl said, If I see Muhammad praying at the Ka`ba, I will tread on his neck. When the Prophet heard of that, he said, If he does so, the Angels will snatch him away.
