حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : وُلِدَ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَّا غُلَامٌ ، فَسَمَّاهُ الْقَاسِمَ ، فَقُلْنَا : لَا نَكْنِيكَ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ وَلَا كَرَامَةَ ، فَأَخْبَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِّ ابْنَكَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ .
