وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ، وَقَالَ: بَيْنَ أَرْبَعَةِ نَفَرٍ زَيْدُ الْخَيْرِ، وَالْأَقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ، وَعُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حِصْنٍ، وَعَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ عُلَاثَةَ، أَوْ عَامِرُ بْنُ الطُّفَيْلِ وَقَالَ: نَاشِزُ الْجَبْهَةِ، كَرِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ سَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ ضِئْضِئِ هَذَا قَوْمٌ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ «لَئِنْ أَدْرَكْتُهُمْ لَأَقْتُلَنَّهُمْ قَتْلَ ثَمُودَ

This hadith has been narrated through another chain of transmitters, but no mention has been made of: If I find them, I would kill them as the Thamud were killed.
