حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «نُزُولُ الْأَبْطَحِ لَيْسَ بِسُنَّةٍ، إِنَّمَا نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لِأَنَّهُ كَانَ أَسْمَحَ لِخُرُوجِهِ إِذَا خَرَجَ»

A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported.: Halt at al-Abtah is not the Sunnah. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) halted there simply because it was easier for him to depart from there, when he left.
