حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَى، قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا، وقَالَ الْآخَرَانِ: أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْطَعُ السَّارِقَ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدً

A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) cut off the hand of a thief for a quarter of a dinar rid upwards.
