وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ لَنْ يَتِرَكَ مِنْ عَمَلِكَ شَيْئًا»، وَزَادَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ: «فَهَلْ تَحْلُبُهَا يَوْمَ وِرْدِهَا؟» قَالَ: نَعَمْ

This tradition has been handed down through a different chain of transmitter with the addition of the following words at the end: Do you milk them on the day they arrive at the water? He replied: Yes.
