حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ أَنَّ أَبَا كَثِيرٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْخَمْرُ مِنْ هَاتَيْنِ الشَّجَرَتَيْنِ النَّخْلَةِ وَالْعِنَبَةِ

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) having said: Wine is prepared from the (fruit) of these two trees-date-palm and vine.
