حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ رُمِيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فِي أَكْحَلِهِ قَالَ فَحَسَمَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِيَدِهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ ثُمَّ وَرِمَتْ فَحَسَمَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ

Jabir reported that Sa'd b. Mu'adh received a wound of the arrow in his vein. Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) cauterised it with a rod and it was swollen, to the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) did it for the second time.
