حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ: خَدَمْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ، فَمَا أَعْلَمُهُ قَالَ لِي قَطُّ: لِمَ فَعَلْتَ كَذَا وَكَذَا؟ وَلَا عَابَ عَلَيَّ شَيْئًا قَطُّ

Anas reported Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) as saying: I served the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) for nine years, and I do not know (of any instance) when he said to me: Why you have done this and that, and he never found fault with me in anything.
