حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ وَابْنِ شُبْرُمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَزَادَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَأَبِيكَ لَتُنَبَّأَنَّ

Abu Huraira reported: A person came to Allah's Apostle ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). The rest of the hadith is the same as transmitted by jarir but with this addition: By your father, you would get the information.
