حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ - قَالَ: إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا، وقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: حَدَّثَنَا - جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ: «مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عُثْمَانَ - مَكَانَ الْوَجَعِ - وَجَعًا.

A'isha reported, I did not see anyone else being afflicted with more severe illness than Allah's Messenger ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ). In the narration transmitted by 'Uthman there is a slight variation of wording.
