أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ مَخْشِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ ابْنِ الْفِرَاسِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ الْفِرَاسِيّ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَسْأَلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ لَا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِنْ كُنْتَ سَائِلًا لَابُدَّ فَاسْأَلِ الصَّالِحِينَ .
