أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَامَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ تَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نُهِلَّ ؟ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ مِنْ الْجُحْفَةِ ، وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ : وَيَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : وَيُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ : لَمْ أَفْقَهْ هَذَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .

It was narrated from 'Abdullah bin 'Umar that a man stood up in the Masjid and said: O Messenger of Allah, from where do you command us to enter Ihram?'' The Messenger of Allah Said: The people of Al-Madinah should enter Ihram from Dhul-Hulaifah, the people of Ash-sham should enter Ihram from Al-Juhfah, the people of Najd should enter Ihram from Qarn.'' Ibn 'Umar said: And they say that the Messenger of Allah said: 'the people of Yemen should enter into Ihram from Yalamlam.''' And 'Ibn 'Umar used to say: I did not hear this from the Messenger of Allah.'''
