أَخْبَرَنَا مُحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَزَلَ الشِّعْبَ الَّذِي يَنْزِلُهُ الْأُمَرَاءُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَالَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا خَفِيفًا، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الصَّلَاةُ أَمَامَكَ ،‏‏‏‏ فَلَمَّا أَتَيْنَا الْمُزْدَلِفَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لَمْ يَحُلَّ آخِرُ النَّاسِ حَتَّى صَلَّى.

It was narrated that Usmah bin Zaid said: The Messenger of allah stopped in the mountain pass where the rulers stop now, and urinated, then he performed a light Wudu and I said: 'O Messenger of Allah (isit time for ) prayer?' He said: 'The prayer is still ahead of you.' When we came to Al-Muzdalifah the people did not unload their camles until he had prayed.
