حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا نَائِلُ بْنُ نَجِيحٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ زِيَادٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ نَهَى أَنْ يُلْبَسَ السِّلَاحُ فِي بِلَادِ الْإِسْلَامِ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونُوا بِحَضْرَةِ الْعَدُوِّ .

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade wearing weapons in the Muslim lands on the two ‘Eid, except if the enemy was present.
