حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَال:‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ لِي فَاطِمَةُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَنَسُ كَيْفَ سَخَتْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَنْ تَحْثُوا التُّرَابَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ . (حديث موقوف) (حديث موقوف) وحَدَّثَنَا وحَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَتْ حِينَ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ وَا أَبَتَاهُ إِلَى جِبْرَائِيلَ أَنْعَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَا أَبَتَاهُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ مَا أَدْنَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَا أَبَتَاهُ جَنَّةُ الْفِرْدَوْسِ مَأْوَاهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَا أَبَتَاهُ أَجَابَ رَبًّا دَعَاهُ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ حَمَّادٌ:‏‏‏‏ فَرَأَيْتُ ثَابِتًا حِينَ حَدَّثَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ بَكَى حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ أَضْلَاعَهُ تَخْتَلِفُ.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: “Fatimah said to me: ‘O Anas, how did you manage to scatter dust on the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?’” And Thabit narrated to us from Anas that Fatimah said: “When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed away: ‘O my father! To Jibra’il we announce his death; O my father, how much closer he is now to his Lord; O my father, the Paradise of Firdaws is his abode; O my father, he has answered the call of his Lord.”
