حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْحَيَّةُ فَاسِقَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْعَقْرَبُ فَاسِقَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْفَأْرَةُ فَاسِقَةٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَالْغُرَابُ فَاسِقٌ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَقِيلَ لِلْقَاسِمِ:‏‏‏‏ أَيُؤْكَلُ الْغُرَابُ؟، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ يَأْكُلُهُ بَعْدَ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسِقًا.

It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Snakes are vermin, scorpions are vermin, mice are vermin and crows are vermin.”
