حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَابِرٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَرِضَ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ مَرَضًا،‏‏‏‏ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَبِيبًا،‏‏‏‏ فَكَوَاهُ عَلَى أَكْحَلِهِ .

It was narrated that Jabir said: “Ubayy bin Ka’b fell sick, and the Prophet (ﷺ) sent a doctor to him who cauterized him on his medical arm vein.”
