The Chapters On Dress in Sunan Ibn Majah 3616 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Ibn Majah and has one hundred and seven hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِذَا انْتَعَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُمْنَى، وَإِذَا خَلَعَ فَلْيَبْدَأْ بِالْيُسْرَى .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When anyone of you puts on his sandals, let him start with the right, and when he takes them off, let him start with the left.”
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said; “None of you should walk in one sandal or in one leather sock. Let him take them both off or walk in both of them.” ..
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade putting on sandals whilst standing.” ..
