حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَتْنَا حُبَابَةُ ابْنَةُ عَجْلَانَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّهَا أُمِّ حَفْصٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ جَرِيرٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّ حَكِيمٍ بِنْتِ وَدَّاعٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ دُعَاءُ الْوَالِدِ يُفْضِي إِلَى الْحِجَابِ .

It was narrated that Umm Haim bint Wadda' Al-Khuza'iyyah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saas) say: 'The supplication of a father reaches the Veil (i.e. the place of repentance).'
