حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ، عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَكْرَهُ الْغِلَّ، وَأُحِبُّ الْقَيْدَ، الْقَيْدُ ثَبَاتٌ فِي الدِّينِ .
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I dislike (to see in a dream) a chain around the neck, but I like to see fetters on the feet, for fetters (represent) steadfastness in religion.”
