حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْأَسْدِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ سِبَابُ الْمُسْلِمِ فُسُوقٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَقِتَالُهُ كُفْرٌ .

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Verbally abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (disobedience) and fighting him is Kufr (ungratefulness to Allah).”

Sunan Ibn Majah 3941

It was narrated from Sa’d that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Verbally abusing a Muslim is Fusuq (disobedience) and fighting him is Kufr.” ..
