حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْحَبِيبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أُمِّ حَبِيبَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ اسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ نَوْمِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْمَرٌّ وَجْهُهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ،‏‏‏‏ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَبِ مِنْ شَرٍّ قَدِ اقْتَرَبَ،‏‏‏‏ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ رَدْمِ يَأْجُوجَ،‏‏‏‏ وَمَأْجُوجَ وَعَقَدَ بِيَدَيْهِ عَشَرَةً،‏‏‏‏ قَالَتْ زَيْنَبُ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،‏‏‏‏ أَنَهْلِكُ وَفِينَا الصَّالِحُونَ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَثُرَ الْخَبَثُ .

It was narrated that Zainab bint Jahsh said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) woke up red in the face and said: ‘La ilaha illallah, woe to the Arabs from an evil that has drawn nigh. Today a hole has been opened in the barrier of Gog and Magog.’ And he gestured to indicate the size of the hole.” Zainab said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Will we be destroyed when there are righteous people among us?’ He said: ‘If sin and evil deeds increase.’”
