حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالُوا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ جَدَبَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السَّمَرَ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَال ابْنُ مَاجَهْ:‏‏‏‏ يَعْنِى:‏‏‏‏ زَجَرَنَا عَنْهُ نَهَانَا عَنْهُ.

It was narrated that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah rebuked us for staying up (talking) after the 'Isha'.
