حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَمَّالُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الْمُنْكَدِرِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَدَعْ أَحَدًا يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنْ أَبَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلْيُقَاتِلْهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْقَرِينَ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ الْمُنْكَدِرِيُّ:‏‏‏‏ فَإِنَّ مَعَهُ الْعُزَّى .

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When anyone of you is performing prayer, he should not let anyone pass in front of him. If he insists then let him fight him, for he has a Qarin (devil-companion) with him.”
