Meaning and Background of Surah Al Imran

Surah Al Imran and Surah Al Baqarah

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ referred to Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al Imran together as Az-Zahrawain, meaning "the two bright ones." An authentic hadith says that these two Surahs will come on the Day of Judgment like two clouds, two shades, or two groups of birds, pleading for the people who used to recite them.
