Sajdah Ayat in Surah Sajdah
The verse of prostration in Surah As-Sajdah is verse 15. It describes believers who respond to Allah's verses by falling in prostration, praising their Lord, and not becoming proud. This is also the verse from which the Surah gets its name.
When to Recite Surah Sajdah?
Surah Sajdah can be read at any time. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Insan in the Fajr prayer on Friday. A reported practice also mentions the Prophet ﷺ reading Surah As-Sajdah and Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping. There is no basis for fixing Surah Sajdah specifically for Tahajjud every night.
