What is Laylatul Qadr?
Laylat al Qadr is known as the holiest night in Islam. It is also
known as the Night of Power or the Night of Decree. The Quran says
that this one night is better than a thousand months. (Surah Al-Qadr,

- The next morning, the sun rises without rays as if it
were a full moon. (Sahih Muslim, 762)
- The night is calm, moderate, and peaceful (Ibn Khuzaymah,
authenticated by Al-Albani)
Which Salah to Offer on Laylatul Qadr In ?

salah to make the most of this night. Here is what they can
offer:
- Make sure you do not miss any of the 5 daily obligatory
(fard) prayers.
- Continue offering Taraweeh in the last 10 nights.
- Offer Tahajjud / Qiyam al-Layl (Night Prayer) especially
in the last third of the night.
There is no fixed number for Tahajjud. You can pray 2, 4, 6, 8, or
more rakahs in sets of 2. End with Witr (1 or 3 rakahs). (Sahih al-
Bukhari, 990)
