What is Laylatul Qadr?

Laylat al Qadr is known as the holiest night in Islam. It is also known as the Night of Power or the Night of Decree. The Quran says that this one night is better than a thousand months. (Surah Al-Qadr, 1–3)

  • Make sure you do not miss any of the 5 daily obligatory (fard) prayers.
  • Continue offering Taraweeh in the last 10 nights.
  • Offer Tahajjud / Qiyam al-Layl (Night Prayer) especially in the last third of the night.
