قَالَ سَالِمٌ : وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرِيَّةِ بِالرُّطَبِ أَوْ بِالتَّمْرِ ، وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ فِي غَيْرِهِ .
Narrated Salim and `Abdullah from Zaid bin Habit' Later on Allah's Apostle permitted the selling of ripe fruits on trees for fresh dates or dried dates in Bai'-al-'Araya, and did not allow it for any other kind of sale.
