حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ مَالِكٌ:‏‏‏‏ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُجَاوِزَ الْمُعَرَّسِ إِذَا قَفَلَ رَاجِعًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهَا مَا بَدَا لَهُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِأَنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرَّسَ بِهِ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَدَنِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ الْمُعَرَّسُ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَمْيَالٍ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ.

Narrated Malik: One should not exceed al-Muarras when one returns to Madina until one prays there as much as one wishes, for I have been informed that the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم halted there at night. Abu Dawud said: I heard Muhammad bin Ishaq al-Madini say: Al-Muarras lies at a distance of six miles from Madina.
