Sunan Abu Dawood 23

The Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah) in Sunan Abu Dawood 23 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has three hundred and ninety hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. The original hadiths are in Arabic, and English translations are available to make them easier to understand.

حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ. ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهَذَا لَفْظُ حَفْصٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ،‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُبَاطَةَ قَوْمٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَبَالَ قَائِمًا ثُمَّ دَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَذَهَبْتُ أَتَبَاعَدُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَدَعَانِي حَتَّى كُنْتُ عِنْدَ عَقِبِهِ.

Narrated Hudhaifah: The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم came to a midden of some people and urinated while standing. He then asked for water and wiped his shoes. Abu Dawud said: Musaddad, a narrator, reported: I went far away from him. He then called me and I reached just near his heals.
