Sunan Abu Dawood 2514

The Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad) in Sunan Abu Dawood 2514 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has three hundred and eleven hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. The original hadiths are in Arabic, and English translations are available to make them easier to understand.

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ شُفَيٍّ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَقُولُ:‏‏‏‏ وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ سورة الأنفال آية 60، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَلَا إِنَّ الْقُوَّةَ الرَّمْيُ .

Uqabah bin Amir Al Juhani said “I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم recite when he was on the pulpit “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power. Beware, strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting, beware strength is shooting. ”
