Sunan Abu Dawood 2707

The Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad) in Sunan Abu Dawood 2707 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has three hundred and eleven hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَمْزَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ شَيْخٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الأُرْدُنِّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ نُسَيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ رَابَطْنَا مَدِينَةَ قِنَّسْرِينَ مَعَ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ فَلَمَّا فَتَحَهَا أَصَابَ فِيهَا غَنَمًا وَبَقَرًا فَقَسَمَ فِينَا طَائِفَةً مِنْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي الْمَغْنَمِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَقِيتُ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ فَقَالَمُعَاذٌ:‏‏‏‏ غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَصَبْنَا فِيهَا غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ طَائِفَةً وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي الْمَغْنَمِ.

Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: Abdur Rahman ibn Ghanam said: We were stationed at the frontiers of the city of Qinnisrin with Shurahbil ibn as-Simt. When he conquered it, he got sheep and cows there. He distributed some of them amongst us, and deposited the rest of them in the spoils of war. I met Muadh ibn Jabal and mentioned it to him. Muadh said: we went on an expedition of Khaybar along with the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم and we got spoils there. The Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم divided them among us and placed the rest of them in the booty.
