حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَكَّارِ بْنِ بِلَالٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سُمَيْعٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِيأَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ مَنْ عَقَدَ الْجِزْيَةَ فِي عُنُقِهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِمَّا عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

Narrated Muadh ibn Jabal: He who put the necklace of jizyah in his neck abandoned the way followed by the Messenger of Allah صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم.
