Sunan Abu Dawood 31

The Purification (Kitab Al-Taharah) in Sunan Abu Dawood 31 shows the teachings and good conduct of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It was compiled by Imam Abu Dawood and has three hundred and ninety hadiths that explain the guidance and messages given to the Prophet SAW. حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَمُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَا:‏‏‏‏ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْأَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِذَا بَالَ أَحَدُكُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَمَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا أَتَى الْخَلَاءَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَتَمَسَّحْ بِيَمِينِهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَإِذَا شَرِبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏فَلَا يَشْرَبْ نَفَسًا وَاحِدًا

Narrated Abu Qatadah: The Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم said: When any one of you urinates, he must not touch his penis with his right hand, and when he goes to relieve himself he must not wipe himself with his right hand (in the privy), and when he drinks, he must not drink in one breath.
