حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَهُمْ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنَ أَيُّوبَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنِي كَعْبُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ سَمِعَابْنَ شِمَاسَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏مِثْلَهُ.

A similar tradition has also been transmitted by Uqbah bin Amir from the Prophet صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم through a different chain of narrators.
